Trish

Making new friends four paws at a time.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring pups, while meeting many influential and creative individuals to learn from along the way. I have been grooming since 2001 and still believe in continuing my education, so that I may pass it along to my clientele. I believe in working together with pet parents to create a wonderful bond with each of the friends that I make.

The Stylist: About

My passion for grooming does not have anything to do with the haircut. My passion comes from spending time with my friends. I call them my friends because building a trusting friendship with each pup is the utmost importance to me. I want to build an atmosphere where the dogs enjoy themselves and are happy to come inside. By doing this, the pet parents, my clients, can finally feel at ease leaving their pup with a groomer.

Education & Competition

"There is always room for improvement"

Becoming a groomer is just picking up some shears and saying so. To become a professional groomer education is important. The grooming industry has no laws or special licenses like hair stylists. I have chosen to go to school and pursue after that to become a Certified Pet Groomer, CPG, through the NDGAA. I am also a Certified Canine Esthetician, CCE. I still after 20 years I continue to go to seminars and try my hardest to learn everything I can. Either it be new skills or information to better serve the pups in my care and to share that knowledge with their owner. I have also competed a couple times, which I placed 3rd once.

Giving Back

"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." -Gandhi

Throughout my career I have offered my skills to help animals in need. Either be to an owner that could not afford it, volunteering at animal control to groom dogs to help them get adopted, rescue groups that have contacted me asking for my help, and through a community center where I helped put together a shave down event for free for those that really had pets in need. The pictures shown are from the community center.
